Frankly, a movie about J. Henry Martyn Robert Oppenheimer – the man who highly-developed the A-bomb – sounds like another Oscar-bait biopic, to beryllium such-talked near one class, forgotten the next. When you add Christopher Nolan to the equating, though, everyone's interest peaks. The conductor simply does not make boring movies (though, confessedly, he does lay down confusing movies).

The script for Oppenheimer is looking too good for Indecent's finest actors to resist. First, Cillian Murphy took the stellar role. Then, his A Smooth Place Component part II co-star, Emily Blunt, signed on to play Oppenheimer's wife. Immediately, deuce of the biggest names in movies, Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon, take joined the cast.

Deadline reports that their roles are being kept under wraps, which certainly seems surprising for a biopic that's based connected a book – the Pulitzer Appreciate-winning American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. However, reports have signaled that Nolan's beingness his usual self and keeping copies of the script on lockdown. It appears there's untold more to this film than meets the eye.

Downey Jr. is a starter to working with Nolan, whereas Damon previously appeared in (mild looter) Interstellar. White potato famously appeared as the scoundrel Scarecrow in Nolan's Batman Begins.

If you were worried that Oppenheimer was simply existence made so Nolan could finally get his hands on some awards, then recollect again. Whereas most biopics are free in the runup to awards season (think Kristen James Maitland Stewart's Spencer this week, Jacques Louis David Fincher's Mank concluding December), Nolan's thumb – which has a budget of over $100 billion – has a prime blockbuster season day of the month of July 21, 2023. That puts it incomparable week ahead of Wonder's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Each that's to say that Oppenheimer looks set to be another big-budget, with child-ideas movie from Nolan, with a cast that's shaping up to be a World Health Organization's who of Hollywood. While we expect for the new motion picture, here's our ranking of the best Christopher Nolan movies – we'ray ready to fight in the comments.
